Holiday No More T_T

How did it happen? First, a week in HK then one from the cruise. Now, another seven days in Sibu just swooshed by in a blink and my holidays are officially no more. :(

(Will write more about Sibu sometime next week when I’ve settled down from all the travelling)

Le sigh. By noon tmr, I’ll be forced to resume uni classes for the next 12 weeks. Ugh. Not to mention I’m feeling bloody unprepared this time. :( The only thing that’s been settled for the current semester is my tuition fees (thanks to Sam). Aside from that, I have no idea when or where exactly are my classes held at, am still groupless for one of my assignments and I have yet to buy any new stationeries (a ritual for every new semester) to work with.

The Start of a Finale

Technically, the final semester of my entire undergraduate education started earlier this week. I missed it because of the cruise heh what a way to start the semester. -_- And next week I’d be skipping classes again as well because I’ll be off for another holiday to Sibu with Drew and his fellow medical classmates (ugh feeling damn inferior now scared my IQ cannot keep up with theirs wtf).

But this is it! As many times as I’ve said it before, this is really going to be it – the end of my student life in just 14 weeks. o_O If I were to follow the timeline provided by my faculty, I should’ve well graduated last year. But what to do lah my brain cannot swallow as much information, so instead of overloading on extra subjects during previous semesters.. I chose to extend till this one to finish off all my remaining electives.

Year 3 Semester 4

MCH 121 – Public Relations

MCH 215 – Intercultural Communication

PSY 317 – Psychology of Film

Sigh, I pray and I hope to God I’ll be able to pull through this final leap with finesse.

She Acts Like Summer And Walks Like Rain

It’s been a good December so far.

I finally got my much needed hair-cut after my last one in March. Nine months with spilt-ends wei, what was I thinking? -_- So when Jo, my usual stylist was away in China, I couldn’t tahan anymore lah. Went to Peekaboo at the Curve and got my dreadful locks trimmed. I didn’t get that stylist’s name (Missy is it?) but I think she did a pretty good job. Phew. :) I’ve also been playing poker at Ben’s ’till the wee hours of the morning for two nights in a row. I lost both times though. Fml. To Drew some more. Fml x 200. -_-

The team.

Spent the entire Thursday at Hannah’s upcoming event’s press conference. Just realized that it’s been a year since the team first worked together and look at how we’ve bonded. <3 Then a couple of days back, I shopped with Mum and actually bought new tops after what seemed like a gazillion years. So happy can do backflip. :p And we finally got the Christmas tree up at Drew’s last night! :D

Now, I just need to get through three things before making an official closure to 2009’s uni life:

  1. Thesis 15-min presentation (7th)
  2. Final exams (11th, 12th, 15th)
  3. Annual Ball (21st)

I did it!

Didn’t really hit the 10k-word mark (final word count: 9 696) as expected, but heck. This has to be one of the best reports I’ve written (in such a short time, if I may add) chewah can actionbabylotion now when just two weeks ago I was like a fish out of water. -_-

But, can celebrate for a week already! Jeng jeng! :D After that, it’s back to mugging for finals but haiyah that one I’ll deal with later. Right now, I’m feeling damn relieved at 39°. (y)

And on a more random note, I’m finally getting my hair trimmed after 7 months. The ends of my locks look like they’ve been grilled.

UPDATE: I added one extra word to my report, so I have 9697 words in total. Woo! And after including the Appendix + References, there’s 52 pages in total for my thesis 2 report. :D WOO!

And I didn’t get to trim my hair. Jo went to China for a holiday fml. Looks like I’ve to bear with the grilled locks till Friday. -_- Woo wtf.
