Day 308: 28th January 2010
My first Project 365 featured here in 2010 after a long hiatus – Freaking awesome Malaccan Cendol.
A day trip to Malacca with good food and even better company.
Albeit the sun was blazing a little more than usual today, this nomz here hit the spot just right. :) Did the usual touristy thing eventhough some of us have seen the fort and churches over a dozen times. Of course, eating was part of our main agenda too lah. :) Oh and did I mention that I really like Malacca? Mainly because it’s so well kept. All the buildings are nicely painted and it’s good to see clean sidewalks and working amenities for a change. Looks like Malaysia does have hope after all.

Holiday No More T_T

New friends. L-R: Lih En, Li Lian, Daniel, TY and not-so-new-friend Drew. :)
How did it happen? First, a week in HK then one from the cruise. Now, another seven days in Sibu just swooshed by in a blink and my holidays are officially no more. :(
(Will write more about Sibu sometime next week when I’ve settled down from all the travelling)

Le sigh. By noon tmr, I’ll be forced to resume uni classes for the next 12 weeks. Ugh. Not to mention I’m feeling bloody unprepared this time. :( The only thing that’s been settled for the current semester is my tuition fees (thanks to Sam). Aside from that, I have no idea when or where exactly are my classes held at, am still groupless for one of my assignments and I have yet to buy any new stationeries (a ritual for every new semester) to work with.
Aiyaya.

Legends of the Sea Cruise ‘10

The whole idea of us going on this cruise was for Drew’s grandma. Because she’s in a wheelchair, going anywhere else would be quite a challenge. And since she has always loved cruises, why not? :) Previous years, we took the Superstar Virgo but for that.. we had to fly all the way down to Singapore since the ship disembarks there. So this year for convenience sake, we decided to try out the new Legens of the Sea as it disembarks from our very own Port Klang.
The whole trip took a total of 6 days stopping over at Singapore first, then Phuket, Langkawi and lastly back to Port Klang.
(13 pictures after the cut – All taken with the Diana F+ and Fisheye V2)

Imperfections, That’s What I Need.

Day 149: 3rd September 2009
Genting Themepark with the Uni Gang. :)
Question: What is wrong with this picture?
Answer: Well, its a little too over-exposed too start with. Jenna (the tiny girl in the middle) has her eyes closed. Julian’s wearing his hideous green Crocs. -_-
And of course, we’re also missing a couple of our usuals in the crowd too.
It surely wasn’t the best picture of the lot.
**
Everynight I think about the mistakes we have made to each other. And each night to fall asleep soundly, I forgive a little. You and I, both.
We are all not perfect.
So why must we discard people (or pictures in this matter) that portray imperfections?

“I Come in Peace, Little Crabs!”

The weekend at Avillion proved to be quite a breather for me. :)
I first heard of the resort almost six years ago from Drew and it has always been his family’s number one choice for a weekend getaway in Port Dickson. Though the sand and sea water ain’t like Miami’s, the beach at Avillion is relatively cleaner than the public ones. For the latter, I’ve heard horror stories of blue shirts turning pink afterwards, okay! =\ Nightmare giler.

We were driving on the opposite direction for over a good one hour because one of the staff didn’t quite know his “rights” and “lefts” very well when I called to ask for assistance. -_- He was lucky the rain was already on my bad side for the day. If not.. /cracks knuckles >(

Luckily, the weather picked up quickly after lunch and on Sunday, the sun was scorching. :) We took a walk out during the low tide. The last time I ever did that was say..five years back? So naturally, I was damn happy and excited lah but almost half of the time I was screaming my lungs out because I kept walking on hermit crab shells. T_T

The biggest one we saw that day! :D

The sky was soooo blue on Sunday. :) And its definitely a “yay” for my new polarizer. Drew refused to bring his D200 back from JB so his iPhone was all he had. -_- But it does take quite okay pictures during the day, like this one:

I’m probably about one to two shades darker now. Which is alright because that means my nose won’t peel off like the last time I got burnt. Heh.

This was after I pleaded to him “Eyh, smile properly lah please”. Imagine how the rest of the pictures turned out before I did so. Haih. :p
