Day 308: 28th January 2010
My first Project 365 featured here in 2010 after a long hiatus – Freaking awesome Malaccan Cendol.
A day trip to Malacca with good food and even better company.
Albeit the sun was blazing a little more than usual today, this nomz here hit the spot just right. :) Did the usual touristy thing eventhough some of us have seen the fort and churches over a dozen times. Of course, eating was part of our main agenda too lah. :) Oh and did I mention that I really like Malacca? Mainly because it’s so well kept. All the buildings are nicely painted and it’s good to see clean sidewalks and working amenities for a change. Looks like Malaysia does have hope after all.

Holiday No More T_T
Filed Under Holiday, Malaysia, Uni | Leave a Comment

New friends. L-R: Lih En, Li Lian, Daniel, TY and not-so-new-friend Drew. :)
How did it happen? First, a week in HK then one from the cruise. Now, another seven days in Sibu just swooshed by in a blink and my holidays are officially no more. :(
(Will write more about Sibu sometime next week when I’ve settled down from all the travelling)

Le sigh. By noon tmr, I’ll be forced to resume uni classes for the next 12 weeks. Ugh. Not to mention I’m feeling bloody unprepared this time. :( The only thing that’s been settled for the current semester is my tuition fees (thanks to Sam). Aside from that, I have no idea when or where exactly are my classes held at, am still groupless for one of my assignments and I have yet to buy any new stationeries (a ritual for every new semester) to work with.
Aiyaya.

Legends of the Sea Cruise ‘10
Filed Under Holiday, Lomo - Diana F+, Lomo - Fisheye, Malaysia, Photography, Phuket, Singapore | Leave a Comment
The whole idea of us going on this cruise was for Drew’s grandma. Because she’s in a wheelchair, going anywhere else would be quite a challenge. And since she has always loved cruises, why not? :) Previous years, we took the Superstar Virgo but for that.. we had to fly all the way down to Singapore since the ship disembarks there. So this year for convenience sake, we decided to try out the new Legens of the Sea as it disembarks from our very own Port Klang.
The whole trip took a total of 6 days stopping over at Singapore first, then Phuket, Langkawi and lastly back to Port Klang.

What a holiday! :)
After six days at sea, I’m finally home with very burnt skin and a huge belly! Honestly, all we did on the ship was eat, swim, sleep, eat, swim, sleep, eatyougetwhatImeanlahsleep.
Pictures are somewhat limited this time around because Drew and I were just too damn lazy to carry our DSLRs. So memories were taken with our iPhones and the two Lomos (which I just sent the films for developing).
Updates laterr. Gotta moisturize! /ouch

Hong Kong – Day 5 & 6

Day 5 – 29th December 2009
The following days at HK Disneyland was straight forward enough. Since this was our second visit, we decided to give priority to only go for our favourite shows:
1. The Golden Mickey 2. PhillarMagic 3. The Festival of the Lion King Show

Despite being the smallest of all the Disneylands, I’d pick HK’s themepark over Tokyo’s anytime. Maybe if I learned Japanese, I would’ve enjoyed the one in Tokyo better but then the musical shows in HK (Tokyo had none) were so good! Must definitely make a trip to the one at Anaheim. :p Confirm will die happy after that.

Mainstreet was still empty because we were one of the first visitors that morning. It was packed as hell after lunch. -_-

The Winter Wonderland Parade. :)

Sleeping Beauty’s very small castle.

In conjunction with celebrating Christmas, the management of Disneyland had the castle turned from this..

..to this!
Quite magical to me lor. :D
Four more pictures after the cut!
