Day 326: 15th February 2010
The day we make our way down to Kajang (Mum’s hometown).
It’s been my family’s tradition to head over to my uncle’s on the second day of cny for as far as I can remember. Every chor yi, we gobble down his homemade authentic Hainanese chicken rice. Preferably for lunch AND dinner. :) I’m such a fan of his cooking that I will never ever have chicken rice anywhere else (Malacca’s chicken rice balls are the only exception and that’s also because he’s Hainanese /cheh :p).

Spent a whooping 13 hours with The Sister today.
Cleaned the house, ran errands, almost died of boredom while waiting for a parking spot, shopped, ate, gambled (but lost RM10 each wuuwuu) and cussed at bad drivers.
Such company is certainly hard to find.

Day 181: 3rd October 2009
Happy birthday, Father Loong. <3
We roamed the whole of Pavillion this afternoon. Ate a lot for lunch and even more for tea. Couple of hours later, our extended families gathered at my uncle’s for the Mooncake Festival celebration and guess what? The face-stuffing began all over again.
T_T

It was Dad’s first visit to Pavillion today, can you believe it? He’s been that busy with work. :( And it’s been forever since the four of us actually went mall-strolling together. So today, my sister and I made sure that we went from one end to the other and back again. :)

Who’d usually come up with the dumbest things for us to do, really. -_-

Beige blazer: Mum’s; Black Jumpsuit: An Old Flame; Slingbag: Dorothy Perkins; Sandals: ?
Went through Mum’s hidden closet again with her lately and we managed to dig a few more precious pieces like this blazer. :) I had to actually get rid of the hideous shoulder-pads which some of them came intact with.
Talk about disasters wei. =\
