Day 326: 15th February 2010
The day we make our way down to Kajang (Mum’s hometown).
It’s been my family’s tradition to head over to my uncle’s on the second day of cny for as far as I can remember. Every chor yi, we gobble down his homemade authentic Hainanese chicken rice. Preferably for lunch AND dinner. :) I’m such a fan of his cooking that I will never ever have chicken rice anywhere else (Malacca’s chicken rice balls are the only exception and that’s also because he’s Hainanese /cheh :p).

Getting Rid Of Bad “Chi”
Filed Under Angry, Celebration, Daily Rambings, Thoughts | Leave a Comment
Need to get TWO angers off my shoulder before the weekend arrives. No good to be carrying around bad “chi” then so, here it goes:
- The weather. It’s always fucking scorching during the morning/afternoon these days. Then it pours just enough in the evening to make it even more humid at night. -_- I know its the “Chinese New Year weather” and blablabla, but I don’t like it. Been having this bugging headache for two days now and yes, I know its because of this stupid weather. >(
- The jam. Both traffic and human! It’s like as if the amount of cars quadrupled over the past couple of days in SS2, it’s crazy! Drew and I had to escape all the way over to Subang this afternoon for a peaceful lunch at Asia Cafe (which reminds me, it’s been AGES since I’ve been there). What usually takes less than 10 minutes to get from Drew’s place to mine, now takes almost half an hour if we’re lucky! I thought only main highways were suppose to be jammed up during festive seasons. Now everyone balik kampung between SS2 and Taman Megah, is it? >(

K lah, I’m actually not that bitter. Aside from all these rage, I’m pretty excited over CNY. :) The food’s gonna be good, I’ll be with my entire family, he’s back for a week plus and hopefully I’ll manage to bring in some moolahs too. Heh.
Happy Chinese New Year in advance, peeps. :) Updates soon!

Happy New Year!

Taken with the Lomo Fisheye V2.
Sometimes when you lose your way in life, all you need to do is find your way back to the starting point. It may take a while – one big circle, if necessary. But then, you realize that it’s all worth it. Because the start is where you truly belong.
Happy new year, everyone. :)
