“If you are pained by the external things, it is not they that disturb you, but your own judgement on them. And it is in your power to wipe out that judgement now.”

-Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emporer-

Surprisingly (or not), I found this quote from my Human Motivation textbook. I like it, heh.

Alright.

The first class of the semester wasn’t all that bad. My lecturer.. she’s a nice, decent-looking lady. A PhD holder in Educational Psychology, if you must know – a plus point. So I was pretty psyched (pun intended) about her, hoping that she could at least put some life into the whole learning process about the Ethics in Psychology. But, no.

She’s a reader, as I would like to call it. She reads from her slides. Word for word. Le gaspe, I know. I hate hate hate it when lecturers do that! WHY DO THEY DO THAT? Don’t they know that we can do that by ourselves?! DON’T THEY? /spasm

What made the whole thing worse (or better, I don’t know but I was laughing my head off afterwards) was when Sam said (and I quote!), “I can’t listen to lecturers like her. She looks like my mother”.

Hmm. Ok. That sounded a lot funnier this afternoon. -_- Sorry, Sam.

Anyway, as expected, class ended a good 45 minutes earlier and I was back home slightly after lunch time. Ate. Just a little bit because I’ve miracalously gained two kilos over the span of two weeks. Horror! Rolled around for a bit. Literally, with my dog. Realized how insanely hot the weather is like these days and no, my leather couch isn’t helping either. Got Mum to finally turn on the air-con after showing her that I was drenched in my own icky sweat. Showered. Finally felt a tinge better. Had my nose in this book till it was dinner time. Skipped dinner. Watched Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Fell in love with the OST.

Anndd.. I’m hungry now. T_T FML.

But, I’m not giving in! Hoho I think I’ll sleep the hunger off. Its genius, really. It always works. Sometimes.

‘Lo. What’s been?

1. We’re down to only one more project for the semester. YES!!

2. But we had to be so gung-ho and signed up for a non-compulsory presentation. NUU! T_T

3. My sister just squeezed her fat ass passed me so that she could toast bread. The kitchen now smells like charcoal. Bitch.

-edited-

4. She’s back for more toast wtf! FYI. She had two gigantic blocks of butter with it. Fatty bitch.
