When She Schmaes 2.0

2010. A new year – Time for an updated profile.

This year will mark a significant change in my life. I will officially complete my undergraduate education in May (God willing) and as you may already know, I major in Psychology at HELP University College Malaysia. I don’t know what I want to do specifically yet in the near future but no, am never becoming a psychologist. Those who know me, would thank me for it. :p

After a good six years of blogging and numerous webhost changes, I still blog to share my thoughts, ramble on my nonsensical daily activities and try to illustrate my life stories – the good and the bad – through my pictures.

I took upon a strong interest in photography three years ago and have since been lunging around my D80 for a year plus now (D40 before this). My gears include only a few humble essential tools which includes an 18-200mm lens, 50mm f/1.8 lens and a SB-600 AF speedlight unit that are all packed into a Crumpler 3 Million home. :) I’m no big time photographer nor do I call myself a professional but I am proud for what I’ve learned so far, being able to properly function a DSLR in its manual settings. Then this year.. Drew, my sister and I decided to venture into the world of Lomography. :) Among the three of us, we have the Diana F+, Golden Half, two Fisheye V2 and the Coloursplash.

Aside from snapping pictures, I am obsessed over travelling. Switzerland, Hong Kong, Austria, and Japan are the few countries that I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to step foot into so far. While travelling, I would of course typically shop like most girls would but I really do enjoy the experience of different cultures and not to forget, their food food food! :D Which is why one day, I would like very much to visit places like India and Africa. I want to see camels and eat authentic naan bread. (y) I also go gaga-crazy over cute stationeries. Like right now, I think I own so many paperclips they could last me five lifetimes. -_- And I wouldn’t call myself a coffee addict, but I do enjoy a good cuppa in the mornings. :)
